$44,651Located in northern California, the city of Anderson in Shasta County is a small rural town that is home to less than 10,000 residents. It sits on approximately six square miles of fertile land, along the Sacramento River where one of the city’s recreational parks is situated.
Anderson’s economy is mainly driven by the lumber industry. But in the recent years, more and more retail jobs have emerged, especially with the newly opened Wal-Mart Supercenter. Several new housing developments have also commenced in certain parts of the town, making the city of Anderson a relatively new hotspot for residence and commerce in the region.
The city is home to a couple of recreational parks like Anderson River Park and Volonte Park. Both parks are equipped with a variety of recreational amenities, including picnic areas, playgrounds, fishing dock, basketball and tennis courts, and many more.
