$44,651Known as the “Jewels of Northern California”, the city of Redding is home to less than 100,000 residents. Although recognized as a relatively small city, it is the largest in the Shasta Cascade region. Surrounded by beautiful mountains and fertile land, the city is often considered as a gateway to other more prominent nearby attractions.
Although there are plenty of more popular attractions surrounding the city, Redding in itself has a lot to offer when it comes to natural and manmade attractions. The Sundial Bridge, Turtle Bay Exploration Park, the Lassen Volcanic National Park, Lake Shasta, the historic Cascade Theatre, and Liberty Park are just some of the popular destinations found within the city and nearby areas.
