Local Information for Lynn, MA

Incorporated as a city in 1850, Lynn now has the 9th largest population in all of Massachusetts. It is also known as the “City of Firsts”, being home to the country’s first tannery and jet airplane engine. The state’s first electric trolley also ran from this city in 1888.
