Therefore, a family may be eligible for one PHA but not another. The number of people in a household determines the Income Limit that is set for determining the family's eligibility for the program that they are applying for. Bremerton is a city located in the western part of Washington State. It is the largest city in Kitsap County and the Kitsap Peninsula. Bremerton is only a 55-minute ferry ride away from downtown Seattle, and is home to the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.
In the recent years, the city of Bremerton began the process of revitalizing its downtown district with the construction of a Waterfront Boardwalk. The historic USS Turner Joy, a decommissioned Sherman-class destroyer, sits at the end of the boardwalk. She is now a museum ship that opened to the public in 1992.
The waterfront area of the city is now home to various commercial and residential communities. The popular Blackberry Festival is held at the waterfront boardwalk every Labor Day weekend.
