Maryland is a state located in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States; it is the 9th smallest state. The Maryland General Assembly created the Maryland Affordable Housing Trust (MAHT) to make affordable housing readily available throughout the State of Maryland. It is governed by a Board of Trustees and staffed by the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development.
